Remembrance Day 2015 in The Grove

Each year we invite folks in our neighbourhood to bring Remembrance Day artwork to The Grove. Many thanks to everyone who contributed art work and came out to see the displays!

A special thanks to teachers and students at Simon Cunningham Elementary School for donating artwork.

Thanks also to the Kwantlen District Girl Guides for hosting the Remembrance Day ceremonies at the Newton Seniors Centre cenotaph. This well attended and well organized event is indeed one of the many wonderful gatherings that bring together people in our neighbourhood.

Check out some of the pictures below and give some thought to art work that you might be able to contribute next year. If we started now, how many paper peace cranes do you think we could have ready for next year?

Here are some instructions for folding peace cranes.
