I moved to Newton in 2009 when I was in Grade 3. When I look outside my window in the fall I can see the trees changing colour and the leaves falling down. There is a playground behind my house and I can see the children play.
The best place in Newton is a creek behind my house that is surrounded by trees. It is so peaceful. The trail in the woods is so nice to walk through because there’s not that many people around there.
Everyone in my neighbourhood is nice and kind; you can make friends with everyone. When I walk down the street I see all the colourful leaves that look so pretty. When I think of Newton, I think of home.
