Caroling is a great way to bring peace to the streets! Check out this video of our caroling event on December 4, 2016:
We started in The Grove and then sang a few songs in the Newton Bus Loop to the delight of evening commuters! We then moved on to Espresso Café for free hot chocolate, cookies and more caroling.
Scroll down to see the amazing caroling book that Steve put together!
We are grateful to “Music Therapists for Peace” Sue Baines and Steve Cottrill for leading the caroling on accordion and banjo, and Brad the Fiddleman for accompanying on fiddle.
Thank you also to support from City of Surrey Celebration and Activity Grant, Espresso Café, and Newton Senior Centre.
Most of all, a huge thank you to Katheren for organizing it all and making it happen!
We’ll do it again next year!
